06/09/21 My Ideal Day

Hi and welcome I hope that you have had a wonderful weekend - I know that I have!

So I thought having had such a great time I would devise a list of things that make up my ideal day!

I wake up naturally and take my time preparing to greet the day ahead.

I visit the bathroom, wash and clean teeth and spend 5 minutes in contemplation

I dress and make a cup of coffee then I write both my journal and my gratitude list

I visit my to do list and start working towards completing the things I have to do

I clean my cameras ready for the photo shoot(s) that are booked

I write any emails that I need to send  and read over my blog notes / planner  and having done this I start writing the new post

After I am happy with that it is time to have lunch and then say bye to Alison if she is not coming with me.

I (or We) leave the house and choose which vehicle we will use - if it is a country shoot we will probably take the Range Rover but if it is a town / city shoot we will take the Tesla

Alison will probably do some shopping before we head home and while dinner is being prepared my assistant and I look through the images from the shoot and make edit notes

I have a coaching client due to arrive at 8pm so we have dinner around 6.30pm

We settle down for “us time” at 9.30pm and then head to bed around 11.30pm

The above is an illustration of what my ideal day would look like.  I know is still a way off but the insight let’s me identify what I am already doing and what I still to make happen.

So go ahead, write out your ideal day and then set about making it happen.

If you feel like sharing your ideal day please pop it into the comments below or drop me an email to devonlifecoach@mail.com

So thank you for taking the time to read this.

Have a great day, be safe, be careful and remember

Good Morning and Merrie Meet Welcome to today's blog! "Flat Calm - next stop America"  It is a beautiful, blue sky day and as you can see in the photo the sea is a wonderful Flat Calm. It is at times like this when living in North Devon has significant plus points that come into play. The crowds have diminished, the roads are much quieter and safer and we are able to enjoy the late Summer Sunshine in comfort. This weekend is #3 with friends and the caravans, it is also "hopefully" the last one we will spend with a leaking shower unit. If I am lucky, I might get some time to write a few forward posts for the blogs, get some lyrics on paper for the latest album I want to record PLUS get some more photographs up on the Moor. BUT THEN AGAIN -  I may do none of those things and just CHILL! We will have to see. Anyway - whatever you choose to do with your weekend make it a great one and enjoy oooOOOooo Thanks for being there and thank you for reading this post! Please

18/11/22 Anger - Something To Be Aware Of!

Anger -  something  to be aware of! Anger is an emotion characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel has deliberately done you wrong. Anger can be a good thing. It can give you a way to express negative feelings, for example, or motivate you to find solutions to problems. But excessive anger can cause problems! Anger is a natural reaction that we experience if we feel threatened or frustrated. It is the first emotion that we experience and the last one we learn to manage effectively. Human infants begin to really display anger as early as 4 months old, and then as we get older we spend the rest of our lives denying it or suppressing it as a troublesome emotion. There are believed to be 2 main types of anger:- Destructive anger and Healing anger Destructive anger is expressed in an unhealthy way and causes harm. For example, a person may act out aggressively towards others. The anger might also be turned inward, resulting in deliberate self-

Friday Update 21/10/22

"I am a person who thinks,              not a number!" Merry Greetings from here in Ilfracombe Have you ever wondered how many people refer to you as what's her (or his) name.  They really don't know who you are and I often ask myself why this should be? I have a theory about this - maybe when they were told your name (either by yourself or someone else) they were not really concentrating on the job in hand or is something else at play?  It is a known fact that things you learnt only recently are actually the hardest to remember, because they have not embedded themselves in your mind. Also a lot of the time this happens because you were paying close enough attention to the information you were given.  It could be that you were desperately trying to prevent your wine from spilling out of your glass and onto the floor. Alternatively you may have been thinking about the shopping you need to buy instead of remembering where you put your car. It is a
